Our Story

The ViewPoint Concert Band is a non-profit, charitable organization of over fifty musicians from all around the country and Canada.  The group was organized in 1984 to contribute to the Mesa area musical tradition by providing an opportunity for local accomplished musicians to share their talents, develop their abilities, and make contacts with other performing musicians (locally, nationally, and internationally) via rehearsals,  and concerts.

The band performs a wide variety of music, including symphonic band arrangements, marches, classical works, dixieland, big band, musical theatre, original compositions, and instrumental with vocal solos.

Performances and rehearsals are held at the South ballroom at Viewpoint RV and Golf Resort, Mesa AZ, throughout the winter months.  Concerts are typically held one time per month on a Sunday evening at 7 PM.  Rehearsals are held each Wednesday afternoons 3:00 – 5:00 pm, and the Saturday before the concert at 10 AM- Noon.
